Health Insurance

Yesterday, Lynn drove me to Dr. Malviya's office for the Neulasta shot that I get 24 hours after chemotherapy. It is a bone marrow booster, to try to prevent infections from a weakened immune system. It was a quick visit. But costly. Once again, I am grateful and humbled to have health insurance that allows me these treatments.

Laura, We look forward to each journal entry. We are familiar with those shots through our daily phone contact with Larry during the past 14 months. Rita is better.

I just this week we received from our library, Lisa Shaw-Brwaley's
"Only When I Sleep, My Family's Journey Through Cancer." I have just read the later chapter by Lisa's father, and am in the day after the Hodgin's Lymphoma was
discovered, but not yet confirmed medically. The book is Lisa's
journal. It has made a big change in my life.

I just received my May/June issue
of Alive Now. The theme of the
is "Gift from South Africa." I thought of your experience there. last summer. Bob
